This is without doubt our most popular experience and is a real hands on day. We start the day with tea/coffee and biscuits and a talk on the history of falconry and a description of some of our magnificent birds we will fly during the day. You will be taught by our professional falconers to make some of the leather equipment worn by the birds and the opportunity to learn how to tie the falconers knot. We then move on to the importance of weighing Birds of Prey, explaining why and how we do this.You will be given the chance to fly a number of hawks and owls Then we are off to the local pub that serves excellent food. After lunch we will take up Harris Hawks for the afternoon flying session and set off into the fields where we have over 3000 acres to use. On our return you will be given a flying demonstration of our Gyr Saker Falcons,and Peregrines.This really is a wonderful gift and is our most popular experience practicing falconry in Suffolk.
