We have had a really busy week at Lavenham Falconry, cleaning, repairing and repainting all pens ahead of next years breeding season. As always exercising all birds and this week we have had two new additions, Islay the Superior Harris Hawk who has settled in well and an injured Barn Owl from our local vets, She had been involved in an accident and had broken her wing after a long operation she now has a rod in her wing and is with recuperating until she is strong enough to be released we will keep you informed on her progress over the next few weeks. Stella our Steppe Eagle is still in training and she is really coming on she has such a character and is very clever (especially at undoing knots!!) she is sure to be a big hit over the coming years.
